Mike Ford was the one who told Hamlin to stay out and said that he would have enough fuel to finish, so this isn't Denny's fault. I'd like to see Mr. Ford fined, and Denny left alone, but there was technically no rules broken, so there won't be any penalties.

no, not really. It was a silly call on behalf of the crew chief, Denny Hamlin. The crew chief should be raked over the coals.

I was pretty upset at first. But, now I have to tell myself that it was not really Hamlin's fault. His job is not to sit in his car and calculate fuel mileage. I am willing to bet he is just as upset with his team for their bad call. Honestly, they had no reason NOT to come in when everybody else did. It is just a shame for the drivers who ran so well today and were swept up in the mess.

Would seem that way but there seems to be something in the gas.Reports are coming in that several cars had tainted fuel including the 11,16,and 22 BDR car.

No, you have to gamble in Nascar and that's what he did. Was stupid on his fault but there's risks you have to take. He wasn't gaining or losing anything. He is too far behind in points.

It wasn't their fault. NASCAR caused it because they don't want a race to end under yellow. So a few times this year it's caused millions of dollars in damage to the cars. Great job NASCAR !

I would have rolled the dice if I had been in their shoes.

You can't really punish someone for being stupid. They can't help it!
