Camrys are safe and reliable but with 3 kids I would go for a minivan. Look into the Ford Freestyle. They are very nice vans, safe, economical.

With three children, one of which is a newborn, you have to allow enough space for car seat(s) and the assorted and miscellaneous stuff that you need when traveling with children. The Camry is going to be cramped, especially when the children as a bit older! I would look at a minivan or perhaps a 2 wheel drive SUV to provide the room and safety you will need!

Good Luck!

A Toyota Camry is about one of the safest cars on the road today.
A minivan can never be compared to a car when it comes to safety.
The Camry is a well put together excellent handling vehichle. No minivan can be as safe as the Camry in this comparison.
Minivan safty in crashes is a newer technolagy as they did not have to meet those crash standards untill recently.

I hope this can be of some help to you.
Drive safe and keep your eyes on the road at all times. This is the best safety precaution.

I am female and know almost nothing about cars, but I recently bought a new one and researched Toyoda's. They are among the best in crash test. From what I've read mimi-vans are quick to roll over. Do some research before you buy so you know your family will be in the safest car possible.
