Boring indeed.

They're both fantastic drivers, and I think they generally deserve the wins they get. But unfortunately they're both Company Men and it makes for sorry racing. You feel as though you're watching a Company win the race, rather than an individual competitive driver.

Were they to wreck each other for a win - just once - more folks would have some respect for them as competitors. But we're constantly hearing how Hendrick won't let them do any more than leave doughnuts on each others door. Take the spring race in Martinsville... Gordon could've won that race quick'n'easy but Hendrick told him not to wreck Johnson. Gordon, being an obedient employee just chickened out. He did some wimpy little bump-bump - accomplishing little more than insulting our intelligence.

And then they try to convince us that they race each other soooooooo competitively? Whatever.

What would be interesting would be to see Kyle break loose on both of them at Homestead. I cant stand that little twerp, but he'd get my props if he did. I think he'll be a great fit with Gibbs, and I might even become a fan of his if he goes out with some style.

AT LEAST HYPOTHETICALLY, I wouldn't be surprised to see Truex wreck Junior to win if it came down to that. More realistically, I can see Tony take out Hamlin if it was a do-or-die thing or just about any other driver check his teammate (save 48/24) for win.

Hendrick is just too omniscious for the average fan and it turns folks off.

You guys would have been a real hoot if you'd been around when Petty won 10 in a row and 27 out of 48 races in 1967.

I wonder if people acted the same way when the Chiacgo Bulls won 72 out of 82 games and stomped through the playoffs back in the 90s?

Quit yer whinin' and respect that he's earned it!

What about the Patriots and Colts? The Boston Red Sox?

Geez guys- rigged???? That's toro-caca.

Not boring to me. Would you find it boring if your favorite drivers were winning? What if was Stewart, Earnhardt or Harvick, would you be belly-aching then. Gordon & Johnson are 2 of the best drivers in NASCAR whether you like them or hate them. Go Jeff, strive for #5

Nope, pretty exciting to me!! I actually felt anxiety the last ten laps during last weeks race, and again today thinking Jimmie wouldn't hold onto the lead for the win. Try picking one of them for your favorite driver, and I guarantee the races will be very exciting for you.

GO JIMMIE GO!!!

I hear yah. I think they should tighten the chase more so that the last race is more exciting to watch. I have no reason to watch any more of this season. Who wants to watch HMS battle it out in the last race. not me.

I can't wait to hear the answers from the Johnson or Gordon fans. I agree with you. The more money you have, the better engines you build, the less chance they blow up, the better finishes you'll have. They're good drivers but so is Dale Jr. Looked what happened to him today. Hendrick is the Yankees organization of Nascar but they actually win.
