I'm Christian, but pride is not appropriate when it comes to one's faith. I believe one should be humble, not boastful and self-righteous.

I am a Christian.Happy to be so!
I try not to be prideful for "pride comes before a fall".

I am not ashamed to be a Christian and stand up for my faith, but there are times that I am very sad to see how other people can be so mean to each other no matter what faith or lack of.
Also on the same note no one is perfect ,including myself. We are all works in progress and God is not done with us yet.
Though it would be nice to spread The Good News of our Lord in a more loving mannor.

1 Corinthians 13:1 (NIV)
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

God Bless!

First you have to define what you consider are qualifications of a Christian! God resists the proud. Your question is wrong. Homosexuals are proud to 'come out' nowadays. Don't be like them. That's worldly!

You should ask "Who is not ashamed of testifying of Jesus Christ, that He belongs to Jesus Christ, and the things Jesus Christ has done and is doing in your life?"

No one who has truelly been born again, which is a SUPERNATURAL birth by the Holy Spirit, can be ashamed of Jesus Christ!

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

I'm a Christian and proud to say it, but I'm ashamed to say I'm not proud of some people who call themselves Christians.

Edit: not taking "proud" literally, it's not used as a term of vanity here!

"I am not ashamed of my Lord Jesus" And rightly so. Romans 1:16 says: "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile." Therefore, feel proud that you can proclaim what you believe but be careful of "false humility". I am proud to have been adopted into the family of God. [Ephesians 1:4-5]
