My blinkers and flashers work sometimes, however, 90% of the time they don't . I keep reading about this being caused by the turn signal switch being bad or something.
Can someone tell me where the switch is located in a 1999 oldsmobile cutlass.
Also if you have any recommendations on something else it could be, please leave them.

Inside the steering column under the steering wheel. Assuming there are no problems with the wiring, it could also be a defective flasher. That is usually behind the glove compartment, but not always.

The signal switch is located inside the steering column underneath the Airbag and steering wheel. If the signals are not working at times, when they quit check to see if the brake lights work. If the high mount brake light works and the two brake lights that are also the signals do not work, you have a signal switch problem. If all the brakes work and the signals don't work, I suspect a faulty flasher that will be up under the driver's feet somewhere.
