What is this emo crap? If there is an adult reading this who understands it, can you give me an equivalent term to someone that grew up in the 80s?

if he cuts your name into himself or plays really shitty music that involves screaming your name loudly, id say hes into you. Over wise you have no hope.
Now to be serious, why does him being emo matter? That stereotype makes it seem like he isn't human. Do you believe he wont respond to your interest in him like any other boy/girl would.
so to digress...just straight up ask him, i mean your prob 14 or something so just ask bc emo people have some human emotions and he may even say he likes you back...i mean he is probably an emotional (emo) guy....and then you two can live happily ever after and become the 8th grade homecoming couple...
worst thing that can happen is hes not into you and you find someone else and hopefully they like you back. Thats life, stop stereotyping, stereotyping is for ignorant people. Hes a guy your a girl and good luck.

try to talk to him about stuff he might be interested in *music* *movies* *art* ?,
don't talk to him EVERYDAY so that way when you do
talk to him.........
it'll feel *special* and *worthwhile*,
emo boys tend to be secluded not only physically
but emotionally ⥠..awe..
don't come off too strong or the emo boy you like
might not feel comfortable and *run away*(not literally "lol")
be friendly...
as for the flirting part-*wait*-... when you think you both of you
are at the "same" level,
don't play games,
but don't let him have his cake too soon,
he needs to "deserve" it,
and you're worth it !

Hopefully the same as any other guy. Just because he's a bit gothic doesn't mean he doesn't want a girlfriend like anybody else. Talk to him and if he seems interested, see where it goes.

Guys are hard to read, do you have his phone number, if you do, call him and see if he wants to do something, If you don't have his number, when you see him ask him over for dinner, If a guy is interested in you , and you spend time with him, he will let you know, you won't have to guess.
