to the raw 'burg, I add some med chop onion and a splash of
Lee & Perrins Worcestorshire sauce...make into burgers and cook as usual.

Basic burger? - take hamburger, shape into a patty, put in a hot skillet (or on a hot grill), flip, cook some more and serve. Often results in a hockey puck-like substance. Now I use no more than 80% lean burger (70 is better - you need fat to help make it moist), allow it to come close to room temp, softly mix in some minced garlic, onions pepper etc, then gentley form into patties about 1/2 inch thick (too much handling makes for a tough burger). Putting my cast iron skillet on medium high heat, I add a touch of dry sea salt to the pan then drop the patties on the pan for a good sear. After cooking for about 5 minutes you flip 'em, let the other side sear a moment then reduce the heat a bit and cook until no more than medium well (yea, I know the FDA says well, but we're talking a freaking burger here!) Serve on a toasted onion bun with some cheddar, thick sliced bacon and your other favorite condiments and you're good to go!

this is my recipe for burgers or meatballs, loved by all of my family:
400-450g mince (any type)
1 medium onion finely chopped
minced garlic (optional)
breadcrumbs made from 2-3 slices of bread, but remove the crusts, they can taste bitter
1 egg
seasoning

Gently fry the chopped onion in garlic in a little oil for a few minutes until they are translucent, and allow to cool. Mix into the breadcrumbs and seasoning, then add mince and mix well with a fork. Add the egg, and your favourite herbs, and make sure the ingredients are well mixed. For best results, shape into 6 burgers or 12 balls, place on baking parchment or clingfilm on a plate, cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours. This helps keep the shape during cooking. Cook either in frying pan or oven approx 180-200 degrees celsius for about 15 minutes, or until heated all the way through.
Cooking the onion and garlic beforehand gets rid of any harshness and stops it "repeating" for the rest of the night! The breadcrumbs give a lighter texture, and the egg binds everything. There are never any leftovers! Try thyme and oregano for beef or pork, rosemary and thyme for lamb, coriander and thyme for turkey. You can add extras, such as half a chopped apple for pork or turkey. Wishing you success!

the basic burger recipe is just plain ground beef you can make it your own by adding spices(whatever you think yould taste good in a burger)or adding things like bread crumbs a tomato sauce and stuff like that

is not a big deal make it simple ,ground beef approx.1kg.1/2 cup fine chopped onion any color,6 slices of sliced bread fine chopped 1 tbspn seasoning (lea perrins or any similar) freshly ground pepper a pinch of salt mix till incorporate then scoop a cup on it form a ball then flattened refrigerate 2-3 hours then brush a little bit of oil both sides then grill ...

my favorite burger recipe is adding lipton onion soup to it. you can make it your own recipe by adding onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, either fresh onion diced, or minced dehydrated onion. meatloaf burgers are good too. add spiced to your own taste.
