i see alot of younger people wearing alot the maltese cross and today i saw a young boy wearing a cross, but the top of the cross was made out of the fascist eagles and the swastika. i dont understand what this fad is. is it now seen as cool to support nazis? or do the kids just not know what it means.
and the kid wasnt a skin head, he wasnt even white.
i say kid but he was probably about 20 i see this all the time in these kids. how is this ok?

what?!?! i haven't seen this! (that's probably cause i hang with punk rockers) i don't see why anyone would wear such a thing. i'd hope they don't know what it means.
i say you give them a good beating and yelling. that's what i would do if i saw people wearing sh*t like that.

I am not sure i've ever actually seen the symbol you mean. but do remember that the swastika was not invented by the nazi's and there are many cultures that have a similar symbol that means the complete opposite of the nazi swastika.
but really on the context the difference is pretty clear.
Nyx, I'd be extremely cautious.... normal people who have any clue whatsoever what it means, would not wear such symbols, and would not make such jokes.
I mean, I bet if you made a joke about american indians and how that THEY(the white people) are not from the US and that they immigrated and such... that they'd not find it funny at all, and would be severely offended. ... if they do not feel those ways, why would they be? or maybe make a joke about some other race being smarter or richer... it probably would not be hard to "draw out" some of the vile-ness that is most likely just under the surface.
edit: oooh, maybe find a way to squeeze in some compliment to some jewish person or something. that'd probably do it if it was there.

uhh not exactly sure what maltise cross is but i see what you mean but nowadays lots of people wear crosses not to offend anyone but probably because that's what the trend is. Most of the times when i see people wearing things that's very awkward for some, when i ask them if they know the meanings, they usually say no. and from the description you gave, i think he's just wearing it cuz it looks cool or something. but yeah...it's usually young people who are very sensitive to what it in the trend or not.

Maybe they actually know what the swastika means??? It was an ancient symbol used by the Egyptians wayyyyy before Hitler. And there are two different symbols, a life swastika and a death swastika differentiated by the direction of the angles. Just because some people associate it with Hitler doesn't mean that the symbol is bad.

thoroughly overreacting, for my section. i do no longer see why every person could be indignant via your donning a circulate. on the grounds that while is a circulate quite Catholic, besides? Or is is surely a crucifix? the two way, i do no longer see why that is going to reason an argument.

i have a friend who wears a cross like that.
she says its about white pride and all but i dont quite get it.
shes blonde and blue eyed and im a brunette with brown eyes.
so the fact that she wears it does kinda worry me that she might think that shes superior to me just because shes white..
i dont know.
her dad and her always joke around about things like that by saying "wheres your green card" when we drive by police the same way i tease them about having a boat in their front yard and how typical it is.
you know?
we're comfortable enough to make these jokes but i still cant help but wonder if my friend might actually believe these things...

Is it obeying God's word from the Bible?
(Exodus 20:4-6) “You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. 5 You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation, in the case of those who hate me; 6 but exercising loving-kindness toward the thousandth generation in the case of those who love me and keep my commandments.
It is an "image" and not approved.
As an example, J.W's do not have ANY form of ICON...in their homes, in their Kingdom Halls, or around their necks, in obedience to the above scripture.
Even though it is from the Old Testament, Jesus himself never denied it.
