An Australian barmaid was sacked and fined, along with the manager, after she crushed beer cans between her bare breasts and hung spoons from her nipples in the bar. Is this really so terrible?

Remember the different attitudes here in Europe, we don't care about seeing naked breasts!! They are in family newspapers everyday.

She sounds talented - I'm surprised the bar owner didn't start a special "boob crusher night" to bring in business!

I reckon there's a place for everything. For god's sake, they're only titties and most people have sucked their mothers, so what's wrong with seeing them? It seems to me also, that this place might've been well known for these kind of antics so I would imagine that most people know/knew what goes on in there. Although, was the manager the boss? If all this was going on without the boss knowing, of course it's a sackable offence no matter what as it's someone business. But otherwise no.

Australian? I believe it! Should only have been sacked if the patrons of the pub left...and never came back.

yes it is you have to have a standard of decency while some people may not be offended by it others would be embarrassed by that behaviour I'm sure if the owner wanted that kind of behaviour then he / she would be running a different kind of bar , and as for that being in family papers ,it is not in family papers it is in 'THE TRASHY PAPERS ' AND ANY DECENT RESPECTABLE FAMILY WOULD NOT BE BUYING THAT RUBBISH , fair play to the owner of that bar he /she did the right thing .

The bar must not have had a liscence for that sort of thing...but I dont think she should have been fined...I think the owner of the bar should have!
