I'm an athiest. Other than religious viewpoints athiests are like anyone else. We may live our lives a little more exemplarily though. Instead of waiting for an afterlife, we generally take our punishment now. With rewards, it is simply the good feelings within for doing right. I admire many things I see in religions. Just don't get disappointed I don't join up. One condemnation of my own beliefs. There are no athiest churches, at least not where I live. So, I resort to what is available to associate with very good people who have different beliefs.

Actually, the cat in my avatar seems to be Christian of some persuasion. My husband and I were watching a porno one time, and she stepped on the remote and turned the channel to The 700 Club.

Atheists are human beings despite what you may have heard. Even atheists can like cute things like kitties. I myself have 2 kitties. The nice thing about animals is they don't judge based on beliefs.

LOL. I've noticed that too. There's a lot of cat avatars for some reason, I've been thinking of getting one for myself. My cat doesn't care about religion, he's too busy sleeping. If he was anything he'd be a Pastafarian. He likes spaghetti.
