Yes, just when his motor actually lasts a whole race....I agree, he can't catch a break for nothing. Jimmie even said in his post race interview he expected Jr. to make quick work of Edwards so he knew he had to get a good restart.
I'm glad Jimmie won, and I too think it was pretty cool for so many people to donate funds to the victims of the California fire. I guess it was meant to be.

Just his luck! It sucks that he is having a terrible year. Next year will sure be 100% better with Hendrick. Its totally obvious that DEI has given up on Jr and given him crap since the announcement!
I think he lost a wheel. The whole wheel just came off, and like Rusty said there has to some wheel problems because not all lugs will come off at the same time.
It was a hard crash - but he was walking so that is a good sign. Eventho one time he hid it that he had a concussion so he could race.

Either there were loose lug-nuts on the Earnhardt's wheel which caused him to crash, or something broke from inside the wheel causing it to fall off. Either way Jr's bad luck still lives while we're stuck with a Hendrick ruining the show by winning again.

Jimmie Johnson could win because of the fact he has 8 wins and jeff gordon has 7 wins so jimmie could yet whilst they the two had the comparable volume of wins they could skip by using maximum suitable fives after which by using tip 10s and ext.
