hi, so yes as it says i am dating a minor and before being bombarded with the wat am i thinking and stuff i understand the situation im in( well both of us) we thoutght about it wel before actually dating so is it so bad i mean the reason most people are against it is becuz their first react is the guy is mostly in for sex if its with a minor but its not always that picture i mean there are people out there who just really fall inlove with the person not for sexual intent and stuff, i mean i've read plenty of forum regarding the situation to make my self more aware of my relationship and the problems it could have but none of those stuff that people normal claim to happen has or will happen between me and her. i mean we plan to wait till marriage before going that extra step as a couple. So with all that inview is it that bad me and her being together. I even meet with her parents, im a bit shy when it comes to conversing with adults so go see them often but i do ever now and then.

The 3 year age difference between 15 and 18 is the problem at that early stage in life, not that an adult is dating a minor. I would be happier if the age difference was no more than 2 years.

Three years is nothing between partners when the youngest is 19 or 20 upwards. I have known people who have married with 18 years age difference, but both partners were much older (one was 21 to 28; another was 21 to 35 and a third was 37 to 55).

It's true what they say about love knowing no boundaries, especially with age, but you had to know how it would look to other people. In this day and age of pedophiles, no one can say what is and isn't acceptable. She's 15 so of course, protectiveness is going to slam down around you guys.

However, if your intentions and feelings are more than just sex, then dating, however you can take it, chaperoned by an adult or maybe coming to dinner at her house, if it's meant to be, it will stay that way till she's 18.

If you want to see her, it's going to have to be by her parents rules. Unfair, maybe, but that's the risk with someone under 18. Good luck.

If you're not having sex, it's not bad, however, as you get older (especially when you turn 21) the age difference will be huge. My husband and I are almost 2 years apart, and met when I was 20. The time before I turned 21 was so difficult, we didn't spend much time together and I couldn't go out with him and his friends. And saying "none of those stuff...will happen between me and her" is unrealistic and may lead you to ignore problems.
