Joey says: who knows what goes on in the minds of men. What it means is this guy is interested in you for that night. He may be interested in you for many nights. The only way to find that out is to actually have, like, a relationship. And the best way to do that is not to obsess but just see if you really enjoy being with him. Does it feel good when he says that? Do you say things back to him that make him feel nice too?
In any case the wisdom of Joey is: guys don't say these things to women they are not interested in, unless it's like, you know, the mother of the chick they're dating, to be polite. But then they would say "that's a nice dress."
Joey has found that a woman who looks pretty "tonight" looks pretty just about any night, unless she's so skanky, looks like something the cat dragged in, and he don't care because he's been knocking back bourbon since 3 in the afternoon. But if he's sober yeah you can take that as a gen-yoo-ine compliment. File it in the bank and stop obsessing about it. Somewhere in this world a guy thinks you're pretty and actually found the courage to say so. So there's probably 20 more who think the same thing.

Maybe he is and maybe he isn't. If he is a guy with a reputation for dating a lot of girls, then he is not being honest. He is just trying to compliment you to get sex from you. If he is a guy known for long relationships, then yes - he is being honest when he tells you that.

I hope so. If I was to tell anyone, it'll be straight from the heart and the truth. Some guys could be lying but sometimes you can just get that vibe, hes telling the truth.

Yes, the only time a guy would lie about something like that is if you force him to. If you asked "Do I look pretty tonight? or Do you like me?" then yeah, maybe he is lying (or maybe not).
If he just blurted it out spontaneously without prompting, then you know he was telling the truth.

If he had messed with ur head before than probly not.. but if he's really sweet, and gentle..then go for it..he's probly not lying.. but make sure u dont let him take over u.. ur the boss.. not him.. if ur not sure about something.. talk to him.. be true and honest..he will be back

That all depend on the relationship you had with him prior to that night. I would be careful because most men are searching for one thing.

Honestly if he really likes you he will tell you straight up and not stutter...then he will not hesitate to talk to you with his friends around...if he does then he isnt worth it..my boyfriend told me straight up how he feels and now we are gonna get married
