The recipe that I am making (Chicken Marsala) calls for 2 tsp of cornstach, can I use corn syrup? Would I use 2 tsp? Would it be better to just not add either?

NO,,,corn syrup is NOWHERE near cornstarch in the ingredient list..If you must use good ole flour in place of the cornstarch.

absolutely not. Corn syrup is a type of sweetner. Cornstarch is a thickening agent. If you don't have cornstarch, use flour instead. in the same proportion as the cornstarch. you should be OK.

Corn syrup is a sweetener and corn starch is a thickening agent. If you knew what you were doing, you could get away with using flour but you would have to do it just right. Go buy the 2 dollar box of corn starch.

Absolutely not- it would be like substituting honey for flour. If you don't have cornstarch try substituting flour.

No, corn starch is a thickening agent, corn syrup is just that, syrup. Use arrow root or just plain flour....
