The Earth has had ice ages, they were cooling periods, between them were warming periods. This has been going on for all of Earth’s 4 + - billion years. This all happened before any of the modern day technology came into being and will continue after we are gone.
The Earth is going through a pole shift right now. A pole shift is when the magnetic poles swap polarities. During pole shifts the magnetosphere is weaker and more of the Sun’s rays strike the Earth, this causes extra heating of the Earths surface, and makes global warming more pronounced.
These are natural cycles of the Earth. We puny stupid humans can no more stop or even reduce a natural cycle of the Earth, than the man in the moon. This is 9th grade science, and one would think that scientists and politicians would be better educated, but it seems that this not so, and they could remember 9th grade science class too.
This may just may be another smoke and mirrors propaganda campaign to cover our governments lies and con games. There are so many conspiracies running rampant it’s hard to tell which are real and which are just simple stupidity. The idea we can stop global warming IS stupidity at it’s highest form.

It is not a hoax, it is not a conspiracy, the science is irrefutable and if that isn't enough the hard evidence is there in the rapid melting of the polar sea ice, the worldwide retreat of glaciers, the northwards migration of insect , plant and some bird and fish species.....although severe weather incidents cannot be attributed to global warming - weather is naturally very variable - the trend to increased rainfall in the cooler latitudes and less rainfall in the warmer latitudes is now well established and was in fact forecast in some of the early work on the effects of global warming. The efforts of some people to deny it is occurring or to blame it all on natural cycles and 'conspiracies; are so pathetic that they would be amusing were the issues not so serious. Our children and grandchildren will pay the price in the absence of ameliorative measures which need to be taken now, not put off for 10 or 20 years when it will be more costly and more imperative.

I have offered to bet Phil Jones of the Climatic Research Unit, keepers of the global temperature record accepted by the IPCC. Of course, one of the requirements is that Jones would release all of his data, metadata, methods and source code so scientists could make certain he was being fair. I offered the bet through William Connolley, but never heard back. The fact Jones does not release his data, methods and code shows that what he does is not science but pseudoscience. Real science is completely open about their data. It is a requirement of science to be open to testability.
J Scott Armstrong has offered to bet Al Gore. Armstrong is one of the leading experts on scientific forecasting. He audited the forecasting methods used in the IPCC report chapter 8 and found 79 violations of scientific forecasting principles. His paper is here:

Armstrong has offered a $20,000 Global Warming Challenge to Al Gore, but Al has not responded.

I think it is a hoax only because evrything that was said to prove it was shot down. Such as hurricanes. They said we were going to get bigger and stronger and more frequent hurricanes after 2005. Well did we? It doesnt take a scientist to figure that out. And don't say that it was just a guess, many scientists were convinced that future hurricane seasons would be bad. The alarmists will most likely say that the weak hurricanes also prove global warming.

I don't gamble on that kind of thing, and I don't use Youtube or wikipedia as primary sources, nor do I advocate others to use them except for supplemental information.
I do not believe human-related global warming is a hoax. To be so assured as to sling around that term, considering the stakes involved, seems foolhardy.
Some sources I've utilized to help me achieve a better grasp of the topic at hand:

Ask the Eskimos living on islands off the coast of Alaska. Their home for hundreds of years is disappearing and it has happened in the last 20 years.
