Our Caravan's heater blows air that is luke warm at best. Our mechanic has looked at it but can't find the source of the problem. Any suggestions?

In addition to the above, the hvac blend door may not be fully closing/opening, thus mixing not enough hot air.

Disconnect the heater hoses at the heater core and run a water hose in each end of the core back and fourth. See if it's partially stopped up.

sounds as though you have a coolant circulation problem. i would start by changing the thermostat. if that doesn't do it more than likely the heater core is partially plugged
