the market decides how much they should get paid. if people want to buy their ppv's then they will get paid.
tito ortiz said he made 6M for 4 fights! that is chump change compared to what mayweather gets paid for each fight. and trying to compare liddel or coture to de la hoya is a joke.
the top boxers get paid more because they are more popular around the world and more people around the world are willing to pay...

Don't think i'm being bias because I box...but boxing is more demading than MMA. One good example is how old MMA fighters can dominate the sport while they're in their 40's but once a boxer reached their 30's their skills start to decline exponentially.
