the link shows how to install stereos pretty much the same thig only in some cases you need to take off the plastic panel from the dash to get to some screws on the back good luck

Couldn't be easier. Set your parking brake, turn the key to the "on" position, and move the gearshift to the lowest gear (just to get it out of the way). Then the entire dash panel that surrounds the radio, climate controls, instrument cluster, and light switch, just pulls right off. Remove it and you'll see the three screws that hold the factory radio in place. The only tough part is that the factory harness and plug don't have much slack; it can be tricky reaching behind the radio and unplugging the harness so that it can be pulled all the way out.
Note that this is a GM data-bus radio, so if the factory radio is removed, your vehicle will lose all factory warning chimes. The factory radio is also used with the Onstar system, if equipped.
