Just wondering if it's frowned upon because i have a costume for my 2 yr. old and everything. I have a 1 yr. old as well that will be going with, but not getting candy.

Of course not. That's a great age to start with! :-) My son will be three, and last year when he was two, we didn't do anything but pass out candy to the others. This year we're taking him trick or treating. But two years old is a great age to start!
You all have fun!

My 24 mo went last year (when he was 12 mo) and we are going out this year, too. Once he got the hang of it, he had fun. We were only gone about 45 minutes. We dressed him up as Bill Dance. Only the men who answered the doors got it. Everyone else just thought he was a fisherman.
I feel like this is the last year I can completely decide what he should be for Halloween, I'm making him a deer and I'm dressing my hus in camo.

They are both old enough to go trick or treating. Let them both go. A lot of people will have loli pops for the little ones. You probably will find that they last about a half hour or so in the cold.

It's not too young. Just be aware of their reaction when they get to a door.

I would start simple like going to a couple of friendly neighbor's houses rather than a stranger's house. Be prepared for tears if they don't recognize anyone. Halloween is a bizarre concept for a toddler to understand.

Happy Halloween!

I think it absolutly fine. but you might only want to go out for about 30min. It may be cold and the kids may get kinda cranky. when he/she gets all that candy, put it in a jar and use it as a reward for when he/she behaves in a restraunt, picks up her toys, ect. he/She will really enjoy it. if the kids to get cranky or start crying, take them home and let them do something at home thats still halloween themed like a halloween game u made upor something you found on the internet. Make sure if you do take them out to take them out earlier before older kids start trampling everyone and scaring them. Also kinda watch the houses and make sure nothings gonna pop out and scare them or a creepy person is giving out the candy.

remember to check ALL their candy for it being opened, discolored, ect.

Not too young at all, i took my son trick or treating with his older brother last year, and he was 2 then, and he loved it. He got so excited seeing all the people in the neighbourhood dressed up in costumes. I wrapped him up nice and warm, and he was in his buggy, just incase he got too tired, and he really had a great time, and cant wait till its halloween again!

Have a great time!

It should be a lot of fun for them. Go early, and bring the wagon for them to sit in, since they'll get tired. Go to just a few homes, and then lots of times to your own house. Then let them give out candy at your house.

Don't forget the camera!

I will be taking my 13 month old to family and friends houses and to a couple of houses in the neighborhood. If it starts early enough we will be going to the mall. You should check if your mall does it. Here you can trick or treat store to store in our mall! It's a lot safer and will be easier for him since he walks perfectly indoors.

I think it's too young....I think at that age it can be confusing to them....on the one hand they have to be wary of strangers and yet here you go taking them round to peoples doors....unless of course you plan on taking them to close friends or family's doors. I would never parade my toddlers around...you never know what weirdo's you could introduce them to...nest thing that "nice old man" who gave obne of them candy is stalking them....
