Yes I did. The sermon was about what the pastor called "the availability factor". He built the sermon around the story of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17. He talked about the four types of people in terms of how the respond to huge problems: Cowards (they run away...pretty much the entire army of Israel), Critics (point out why other's ideas won't work...David's brother), Counterfeits (unwilling to use the gifts they have to solve the problem...Saul), and Courageous (face the problem...David). He then gave us three tips for dealing with seemingly insurmountable problems: (1) change "somebody help" to "I will", (2) change "I can't" to "God can" and change "God could" to "God will". It was a good message.

Yes, our sermon was from Ezekiel and it was on God's glory and holiness and how that should be the focus of our worship rather than getting caught up in activities and programs for the sake of "doing church". Our pastor is early 20's, yet through the anointing of God delivers messages that are wise and bold beyond his years.
Getting ready to go back for evening services tonight.

That is what we were talking about and the forgiveness that we have through Jesus going to the cross, and doesn't expect any thing in return because we are saved through mercy, not good works, Jesus went to the cross already, we discussed the King who had loaned money to the man, and gave the man a break on His debt cuz he said he couldn't pay it yet, and then turned around and went to someone that owed him, and the person couldn't pay it, and went crazy on this guy, then the King went back and confronted the man, that is like, Christ forgave us, now who would we be to not forgive others, no one owes us anything, If we don't owe it to Christ because of His Mercy, then no one owes us anything, and we should show that same mercy. We also talked of how are names were already written in the book before we were born, that we are saved already by Jesus Christ going to that cross.

I went and the sermon was about unity as well, about no matter how different we all are, and no matter that all of our problems are different, when we come into the Church as a community united, we will get what we need.

I did. We had a time of greeting and hugging like we do most Sundays.
The sermon was about Biblical truths on how to handle your finances; a subject our pastor rarely speaks on.
He gave Scripture in Proverbs on how to control money. It was a good sermon.

Yes - and the sermon was about worry - and why we shouldn't worry about things so much. Lots of times we just call that worry by a different name - "stress".
Christ said that not one of us can change a hair on our heads by worrying - so why do it?
It was interesting and thought provoking - the scripture is found in Matthew, Chapter 5.
God bless!

I went today too.
He discussed the power of tithing and the spiritual aspects of it- how God removes obstacles when we Fear(honor and respect)Him. Malachi 3 and Proverbs 9:10. Also he used Deuteronomy 14:22,23,27
And God will give us What we can maintain now and the level we are at so we are to learn to take care of what He gives us now so we will take care of our future blessings.
It was a wonderful service!!

Yes, I did. The biggest point of the sermon was "How close do you really want to be to God?", meaning, "Are you really making that effort to do whatever you need to do have an intimate relationship with the One who made you?"
