Is there a special reason that you want to construct this prayer? Why not just pour your heart out to the Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to may your prayer perfect and acceptable before the Lord? Sometimes, when I feel like you are describing, I simply cry and say help. I think a heartfelt cry or a simple help means just as much if not more because it comes straight from the true feelings of your heart. You are leaving the decisions up to the Lord, you are leaving everything at the foot of the cross, and using a simple help, give the Lord all the room in the universe to answer. I look at it this way, if Christ is your best friend, just imagine yourself cuddled up in His lap, and let Him hold you. Love Him and let Him love you and that alone will wash away any sadness or fear. Ask for peace that surpasses all understanding and it is yours. If you don't have the ability to create a beautiful prayer and you have someone else do it, it does not come from Your heart. Give him what is from your heart. Just my opinion. I hope this is helpful to you. I just want you to understand that you can come as you are to the Lord. You don't need fancy words, or special poems. Come just as you are.

For a prayer, I would say what ever comes from YOUR heart. If you are depressed for no reason, go get medical help. Some depression is just an illness like flu..There are medications to help. If there is a reason to be sad. don't fight it grieve and cry and pray and tell others that love you. You will be in my prayers. God Bless you!

Jammee, I am so very sorry that you are experiencing, depression!
I must tell you, I have no clue what you are going through, as far as your depression. But, God does!
You know, God prefers that we pray from our hearts, when in need! You do not need to "construct" a prayer, if you are wanting to speak with God, about this!
Pray from your heart, hun as He wants to hear from your heart. He does not care for any lines we may give you! There is only one other prayer that Jesus gave to us and that is the OUR Father! All other, rote prayers are prayers or, poetry written by others. If you are depressed, you simply need to open your heart and speak to HIM as though He were standing right before you! HE IS!
I am going to be standing in prayer for you as I have experienced severe depression and it was my Lord who set me free! I pray this for you too!!
God Bless You,
Gail

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference; living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time, accepting hardship as a pathway to peace, taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to Your will, so that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next. Amen.

This is what you should do, pray to God first for the KIngdom, and that His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven then ask forgiveness for your sins, and talk to God about whats on your mind, God already knows your sadness, but it is good to talk to God, and ask from your heart for the Lords help in dealing with it, God loves you so much, and wants us to be happy, God cares about His children with a deeper love than you and I cannot fully understand yet, as we are still in a sinful world, Just talk to God as your friend, Just be real, The Lord Loves you, I pray this will help you, and I pray you feel better.
God Bless You.

Just jot down exactly what you are feeling deep inside your heart and express it to God. No one can tell you how you feel but you can tell God how you feel and cry it out on paper. It is perfectly normal to feel sad from time to time. Sometimes, sadness draws us closer to the Lord than good times because we express the honest truth what's going on inside us and He loves to hear the prayers of His hurting saints. Job couldn't have said it better. "Oh if my words were jotted down and written for God to hear." (I'm parapharasing.) You will feel better. One sentence or ten. God is concerned with the contents of your heart not the number of your sentences.

Dearest Jammee--
Here is my prayer for you:
Father in Heaven,
I just thank you for Jammee--that she is crying out for Your comfort and for Your healing and for Your wisdom.
Lord, I just lift her up to You. You know her problems, You know her fears and her concerns, You know all her situations. I ask that You just touch her life--bring her to full salvation, repentance, restoration and give her that truth that sets her free, give her that life that helps her to walk in Your love, peace and joy. Deliver her from the power of darkness into Your glorious light.
God, thankyou so much that You have given us the Holy Spirit for our comforter. I ask and prayer that You give your precious Holy Spirit to comfort Jammee today.
That You give her the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness(Isaiah 61).
Lord, I ask that you lift this depression, this sadness, this heaviness and all of these burdens from her. Let her feel your cleansing power and restoration of Your JOY in her spirit.
Father, Your word says that "If we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) I just ask this for Jammee--that she call upon your name so that she is saved.
Father, your word says: "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."(Matthew 11:30) Lord, I just ask for Jammee to have all heavy yokes lifted and all burdens to be lightened. Give her that easy yoke and light burden. Father, cleanse her from all dead works and restore a right spirit with in her.
Give her Your strength, Your wisdom, Your goodness, Your peace, Your joy, Your love, Your long-suffering and help her to forgive all those who have ever hurt or harmed her.
Lord, You know exactly what she needs and I pray for divine appointments to be set across her path that she may be encouraged in a strong faith in the LORD Jesus Christ as her personal savior, as her redeeming King and as her friend that she can call upon anytime.
I pray all this in Jesus mighty name.
Amen.

Divine Support
Thou art the blessed God, happy in Thyself, source of happiness in Thy creatures, my maker, benefactor, proprietor, upholder. Thou hast produced and sustained me, supported and indulged me, saved and kept me; Thou art in every situation able to meet my needs and miseries.
May I live by Thee, live for Thee, never be satisfied with my Christian progress but as I resemble Christ; and may conformity to His principles, temper, and conduct grow hourly in my life. Let Thy unexampled love constrain me into holy obedience, and render my duty my delight. If others deem my faith folly, my meekness infirmity, my zeal madness, my hope delusion, my actions hypocrisy, may I rejoice to suffer for Thy name.
Keep me walking steadfastly towards the country of everlasting delights, that paradise-land which is my true inheritance. Support me by the strength of heaven that I may never turn back, or desire false pleasures that will disappear into nothing. As I pursue my heavenly journey by Thy grace let me be known as a man (or Woman) with no aim but that of a burning desire for Thee, and the good and salvation of my fellow men.
