since then i have been unable to go to the toilet , my urnine output is low and clear and my chest burns and i find hard to breathe ,what could this be

i took 10x10mg but i chrushed them.but this was a while ago and still having problems

Amitriptyline is a very bad drug to overdose on. It causes numerous ill effects when taken in overdose - including seizures and arrhythmias of the heart. You need to either go to the ER or call the Poison Control Center - 1-800-222-1222 (in the US) - they're open 24/7 and pick up quite quickly.
Amitriptyline overdoses are nothing to mess around with - a small overdose can kill!

You took to many amitriptyline? Im on the same stuff, what was the mg per pill and how many did you take? Sounds like you need to call the ER, the finding it hard to breathe part could be really really bad!

How long ago did you take too much Elavil? If it was just a few hours ago, wait till tomorrow, and you should be fine. If not, see a doctor. That'll teach ya........LOL :)
