The BigBang theory? How can nothing make something? So you have nothing you can not make something out of nothing, you have nothing to work with... eg. there would have to be an intelligent design to create this, and if there was black matter... where did it come from? if there was nothing to begin with? Also, how is it possible that all the right conditions are made to make it possible to live on earth? It has been proven if we where any closer to the sun or further we either burn or freeze... Now, stuff like that just doesnt happen?

Conversley, you cannot prove the existence of any gods.
There is absolutely no evidence for the existence of any gods.

The unsolved mysteries of the universe are being slowly but surely discovered.

To use the term 'god' as the reason for anything is simply a lack of an explanation. It is an easy, ignorant and false belief.
The god of the gaps is being quickly shown to have no reason to be.

It has been proved by Stephen Hawking that matter does come from nothing on occasion.

Life is believed to have started through abiogenisis and that hypothesis is expected to be proved within the next 10 years.

Life has developed through evolution which has been proved beyond doubt.

Science relies on empirical evidence, and it relies on reason -- hence "the scientific method". Science does not claim to know all the answers, especially things that are currently beyond its understanding. The best scientists in the world couldn't possibly explain or understand thermodynamics, nor electricity, nor quantum mechanics 300 years ago. There's no reason why science needs to be able to answer all the questions in the universe for it not to be a valid method of understanding.

You tell me God exists using the scientific method, I don't want to hear faith, I want evidence that's STRONGER than what science has been able to come up with. You cant.

Prove God exists- I bet you can't.
Big Bang Theory vs. "In the beginning God created the heaven & the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."
How's that for creating something out of nothing!?
You'd sound more credible if you didn't refute yourself in your own question....

I believe that there will never, ever be any proof that God does or doesn't exist.

That's why it's called faith. Some people choose to believe only what they see, and some put faith in what they don't have evidence for but also don't have evidence against.

It seems like these types of questions never have a satisfactory answer, so I wouldn't bother asking if I were you. However, the same can be said of the "Prove God exists" questions too. You can't prove it either way.

Look, first off, the burden of proof rests on the one making the positive assertion.
Secondly, you cannot prove a negative.
Thirdly, even if you could, you cannot disprove an idea as ambiguous as "god". But that is only as long as you give this 'god' no attributes that are observable. As soon as sart attributing things to god (i.e. 'all-loving, all-knowing, all-god, all powerful, etc., etc.) you risk scrutiny.

For example:
Claim: "There exists a god who fills the universe with popcorn."
Observation: The universe is not filled with popcorn.
Conclusion: We can, therefore, reasonably conclude that a god that fills the universe with popcorn does not exist.

p.s. learn logic pls.

I lose energy with each letter I type. We ask them to disprove God and they talk about Santa not being real or to show where the flying turtle above your head is - what's that got to do with the topic? Belief in God is based on faith and unprovable knowledge ( yes, you damn atheists- UNPROVABLE) that He exists. Must you see before you believe? Faith inGod is beyond logic. How many times will I say it?

One billion people on this planet live in dire poverty. That means they try to live on $1 or less a day. Each year, over one million children in the world die from starvation and related causes. And we're talking about kids under the age of 7...So your god isn't so "all loving" and "All Powerful" ,is he ? Or you're telling me you would just sit there and watch a small child suffer a slow and painful death while it was well within your power to prevent it ? Yeah,sure...

easy. The reason that the perfect conditions came to be is that WE chose it to be. We create our own reality.

Now as to your god he exists outside of space and time correct? correct. now to disprove him we have to prove that nothing can exist outside of space and time. Time is an illusion it is simply change and our memory of it. So to exist outside of time you would either need to have absolutely no memory and be in only on state of mind for eternity while doing nothing or you would need to never move or change and that means that there would be no thought and that means that either way any thing outside of time is useless and cannot do anything. To be outside of space? well to exist outside of space then you would be unable to communicate or control anything within space.

You cannot disprove god's existence with evidence but you can with logic. there is nothing logical to prove god's existence. therefore since we can disprove with logic but not prove with logic then the only logical choice is that there is no god.

First you need to give me a workable definition of your God, one that all you Christians can actually agree upon.
The definition as undefinable does not qualify as workable for reasons even you should find obvious.

Of course I can't. I don't even know what to disprove, since I've never been told what the properties of God are.

All I can say for sure is that I've never seen any evidence of God, nor had any experience of God.
