E. Coli which is found in feces could easily be on their hands when they pick the produce. Even washing it off with water is not effective in preventing you from getting sick.

I think so. E.coli didnt get on the produce itself...

Perhaps many do not have good hygiene..

Yes of course they are. All of those news articles you saw about contaminated water from pigs were just fiction. They are also responsible for the high cost of gas.

that is how its spread,the mexicans are in the fields all day,and they dont have a portapotti,they poop all over the crops and wipe their bums with leaves.no sink to wash up at,bingo(ecoli)....................................aLSO.MANY OF THEM ARE REAL SICK WITH PARASITES AND HAVE REAL BAD DIAREA
