Feeling persecuted, again? Tsk! Tsk!
It might have something to do with the fact that Xians ask the vast majority of questions, like yours, that need refutation. You are mistaken in your assertion that we do not criticize Islam, et al. Most of respond to inane postings, most of which are from those of your persuasion.

Whenever christians criticize a religion, why is it always the lack of a religion they despise? I guess some people feel threatened in the face of the TRUTH:
They don't know any better than anyone else does!
But expose that truth & you'll be undermining the sense of security people get from the knowledge that others share their belief system, so they must be right & everyone else is wrong!
Have you seen any Hindus or Zen Buddists complaining about their persecution level on this forum?
Christian church is nothing more than a social club. As long as everyone knows that, we should get along fine.

I think you need to research what atheism actually is. It is not agnosticism. Whenever "A" is added at the beginning of a word it means without. "Theism" is the belief in one or more deities. Atheists simply do not believe in the existence of any gods, be they Christian or otherwise. You should examine your own cultural contexts to see why many atheists you have encountered seem particularly hostile against Christianity. If you live in America, you live in a culture that is predominantly Christian, at least in name. It is only logical that an atheist in America would speak out against the majority religion.
You should also think more carefully about the nature of religions. BOTH Christians and Muslims have been the perpetrators of killings throughout the world: The Christian crusades of the middle ages, the Inquisition in Spain, the genocide in the Balkans during the Bosnian War of the 1990s.
I am not an atheist myself, but I do think that you need to reexamine some of your assumptions about them and about Christianity.

Christianity maintains absolute spiritual truth. That is what they defy - it's not religion that they hate. It's the assertion of absolute truth that they hate. But, there are absolute physical laws - so I say - why couldn't there be spiritual ones? Fortunately enough for the law of gravity, the laws of magnetics - we have a true north. A person can say - east is north or west is north. But a compass points the way to true north which is fact. The bible is the same way - this kind of teaching is what they criticise - not religion itself. Religion that is a method for reaching god - is fine with them as long as you don't assert that He is real and gives us absolute standards in life. At least my Atheist friends would agree with me.

Uh, at the moment, Christians are murdering a lot more people than Muslims are.
It's simply not true that atheists only criticise Christianity. I, and many other atheists, are equal-opportunity critics of woo-woo.
Be that as it may, most of the people on the English-language portions of this site live in countries that are dominated by Christians. Most atheists on this site (the English language parts) who were emotionally abused as children via religion were raised as Christians.
The people in my country who are trying to use religion to destroy my country are Christians. I rarely hear of, say, Jews or Muslims, trying to write their religions into law, or preventing science from being taught to the young.
I tend to diss believers in woo-woo, whatever their specific bunch of magic they believe in. But you can hardly blame people for specifically going after the biggest threat to their own country and their own well-being.

christianity in its various forms is the dominant religion in the societies where atheists appear in large quantities and are not oppressed by the religious goverments. Thus the atheists come into the contact and conflict with the christianity more often than with other religions.

Because they were raised by fascist fundamentalist abusive shame based parents.
they are angry and cannot forgive they are stuck to the same fascist fundamentalist image of God that was shamed into them as young children. A god that is disproved very easily. The same concratized image of God that was beaten into them is still in them when they use the Bible to argue there point;.
They have become there parents. The same mindset
Good and evil. Those who believe what there tribe believes are good. All others must be converted, or wiped out.
How Ironic

Because a lot of "Christian" people say they are but really don't take on the roll of a Christian. therefore they don't get up in peoples faces when they down there so called religion. Not saying some won't but most will sit there and take it. so if your a real Christian you'll let them know what's up!

Nonsense---I'm happy to critique all religions. But it's the monotheistic ones, with the Old Testament god, that are particularly obnoxious. That includes Islam. There's less craziness, for example, in Zen Budhism. Some, but it's not manifestly dangerous.
I'm sure that Islamists are even more willing to subvert our freedoms and install a theocracy than Christians, but there are fewer of them so they're not as much of a current political threat as Christians.

I criticize all religions. But we mostly criticize Christianity because we know the most about it. Living in America, we hear about religion every day. Also because it is the most that affects American atheists. Christianity is the main reason that gay marriage isn't accepted and abortions and stem-cell research are discouraged. Most atheists want these things allowed, especially stem-cell research because it could help find cures for so many illnesses. It is like Christianity is holding us back too even though we want nothing to do with it.
