Okay so I'm an Atheist, and the other day I asked a question about why are responses from believers to atheist questions so off the topic and insulting, and the question got promptly removed.
Earlier that day I answered a question that asked "Why are Atheists such assholes." and that question NEVER got removed; is there a connection here?

Are all the religious people here a bunch of snide sneaky creeps just going around deleting our questions because they feel threatened and insecure?

to "problem"- yes I know i can report, but it's against my policies, but I will not stoop to their level.

oldguy63- don't be ignorant, I asked a legitimate question and deserved an explanation, I didn't result to calling anyone "asshole"

Yup, that's it. They can't back their rants with explanation so instead they resort to being sneaky bastards, when someone has their back against the wall in an argument.

Not all Religious people. In Hindu Religion Atheism(as I understand "Theos" means GOD and Atheist is one who has NO belief in god) is an accepted part of the religion.Out of Six Dharsanas, the SAANKYAA authored by sri.Kapila Muni(Now Extinct) but his ideas written by his students sri.Eeswara Krishna and sri.Vigjnaana Bikshu are Extant(available now). They accept Vedam but any reference about GOD ,they do not agree. The author of Yoga Saastram sri.Padhanjali( which is now widely mis-represented in Western countries as " Iyengar yoga" "Bikram Yoga" etc) agrees with Saankyaa in toto except the the view of Kapila on the Existence of GOD.sri.Padanjali(Theist) has a lot of respect and reverence to sri.Kapila Muni(Atheist) Even the Atheism in Buddhism is an off-shoot of Saankyaa only. Even in sri.Ramaayana(one of most respected Hindu Religious Texts) in sri.Dasaratha's(sri.Raama's father) court there was a staunch Atheist by name sri.Jaabaali who was the most respected at par with sri.Vasishta(Theist).So in Hindu religion Atheism is respected if not agreed upon.Removal of questions and Answers(in yahoo Answers) which one does not agree is a NOT a Good policy-very undesirable .Democracy means respecting the views of people with whose views we do not agree and not closing their mouths and deleting their Ideas..

Questioning the motives of others on here is fast becoming a drinking question.

There are kids on here who like to use the report option just because they can. Theists who are just psycho, and others who are too opinionated to hear anything that disagrees with them regardless of how ridiculous they are.

Asking why or trying to analyze it is a waste of time.

They problably believe you don't belong in this section, since you don't believe. But maybe you do have a strong spiritual focus, without a belief in God. It would be strange for someome, that does not believe in math, to be using the math section. Or maybe you are doing research into this area, to figure out why people in this section believe what they believe. Good luck, if that is your mission.

I was not aware that any member can delete the questions of others and that this is done by Yahoo team, having said this I cannot see any logic in removing your question as apposed to your second one which was not removed, it would have made more sense to have removed the second one simply because you used the term ********

No, they are not.

An atheist had an answer that I gave removed. My answer was this: "I am blessed."

Be fair, friend.
I see many "questions" asked by atheists that are truly offensive. ("Is it blaspemous to attach a Jesus figurine to a firecracker and blow it up?")
These remain, whereas a question such as "Will you please pray for my sick mother/father/friend" is removed.

It works both ways.

There is no connection.

I understand what you're saying and I respect it, but please don't make such wide statements. I'm a jew and would never do that. It is actually against the Jewish religion to try and covince non jews to convert to our faith. so if any jews do it to you (hopefully they won't) thats what you can say.

So you really think that believers' answers to athiests are off the topic and insultng? Don't you think that is kind of insulting to Christians? I personally think your question should have been removed.
