I tried it, but since there is no hell, my astral energy had to divert me to the closest thing, and I ended up sitting on George Bush's lap.

first of all i think there is no separate hell because hell is around us, it is in our world itself there are many people who live in fear, pain, torture,abuse and humiliation they struggle hard to survive every minute its living in hell sometimes we can also feel that dont you? if you believe books and myths your brain can manifest a lucid dream for you of some hell but if you wish it deeply and want to see real hell than your wish of hell astral projection can project you to iraq where you find bomb blast victims living every second in dying pain, you see children in many countries being abused by their own relatives or known people in cruel ways..these children cant even tell any one baring their pain with them everyday you will see woman being tortured by cruel people around them .. etc. etc. hell has many faces. astral projection is not possible for everyone its a gift of hard working and good meditation so dont waste it to project hell when you can see it physically...

I had this coworker who kept on asking me if I wanted to have astral sex. I finally relented and told her I'll be in my bed at 10 o'clock. The next day, she asked me if I enjoyed it. I just shook my head and told her it was completely unremarkable.
She never asked again.

Jee,why would you want to do that?!If you ask God to 'show' you something I'm sure He'll think about obliging it.You won't like it there thoe.I've been 'shown' a few things.Where people went after death.Be carefull what you wonder about.You may be shown.
Astral projection can be achieved,but I must advise to do with causion.Even if you don't want to go somewhere,once the body/spirit knows how.You'll go.

it's possible to astral project/journey, and there have been many articles on the various "underworlds" existing as actual planes, and some ppl journey to other planes...
so theoretically yes.
