If the mom is still around, make sure you treat her as well. Kittens can be treated. I'm assuming these little babies are in the house, which means so are the fleas and they will get into the carpet, pet bedding, couches, etc. So you may be looking at more than just kittens being treated for fleas.
When my daughter moved away from home (and took her cat), it was a year before we moved her other sibling into her old room. It wasn't long before she complained of flea bites on her legs. We called a Pest Control company and he said fleas can remain dormant a long time.. and it may have been the agitation of the vacuum cleaner that "woke" them up ..... it took another year to rid that room of the fleas!! good luck
We used to use a diluted solution of pine oil and warm water as a flea dip on one of our cats... fill the bucket with almost to the top.. gently lower the cat up to the neck... what doesn't kill the fleas, they will run up the body to the cat's head where I used a wash cloth to wipe them away. Make sure the solution is diluted.

Yes, you can use a proper medication. Just not one from a store - these should not even be used on adult cats!
Get a proper treatment from a vets please. Veterinary spot-ons like Frontline and Revolution can be used from 8 weeks of age. Frontline spray can be used from 2 days of age.
Please do NOT start giving your cats garlic, washing them in Dawn dish soap or wasting your time trying to comb the fleas out.

Use "Advantage" flea medicine. Just squirt the liquid (contained in a tiny capsule) onto the back of the cats neck (so that cat can't reach it) once a month and voilla! no more fleas.
(stay away from powder, or cheap Advantage substitutes, price isn't something to be considered here)

Advantage monthly flea treatment can be used on kittens as young as 8 weeks old. You can usually purchase it from a vet without having to take the cats to the vet.
