Without a greater context, it seems like gibberish.

"Thriving" and "winning wealth" are most certainly not synonymous.

A person may follow the "right course" (i.e., one that leads to Salvation through Jesus Christ; there is no other "right course") and yet, by the world's standards are not materially wealthy.

A "greedy man" and one who "wins wealth" are also not synonymous.

I've know plenty of people whose lives are "thriving:" full of material wealth, but not through "right conduct.

I've known plenty of "greedy people" who are materially poor. Their greed is characterized by an unwillingness to share what they DO have, regardless of whether it is a lot or a little, whether they are sharing from their excess or their sustenance.

And, finally, as for "a greedy man has no tomb," I'll assume you mean a tomb as a place where his remains are buried, where those who loved him go as a place of remembrance. I guess I would agree that not many people would hold the truly greedy in such high regard that they would occasionally want to visit their tomb to refresh old pleasant memories, so in that sense, they have no "tomb," only a chamber for their bones.

first, it depends on what is meant by "wealth" - literal or spiritual. The former implies a Calvinistic philosophy, the rich are god's chosen, the poor are to blame for thier own misery; doesn't sound very Jesus-like to me. The latter could be argued that spiritual wealth is more important than material wealth, but it does a rarther poor way of doing so - by using material wealth as the allegory, it runs the risk of capsizing its intent and turning toward the aforementioned Calvinism.

It means a man who is honest and hard-working while being respectful of God and others will live a happy and fulfilling life and afterlife. A man who is greedy and selfish will have no one who honestly cares for him because he is only devoted to himself. He will have nobody here or in the afterlife.

It's OK to be wealthy if your conduct is right, if you are fair. A greedy person goes to hell.
