It is neither bad nor poisenous. Just be very careful with potatoes that have sprouted or that have turned green - those are poisenous. Best throw the green ones away, simply peeling them won't remove the poison solanin inside. You can get very sick if you don't, especially if you eat the potatoes raw.

No, it's not poisonous, but I would avoid potatoes that have turned green and don't eat the sprouts. The green stuff and the sprouts contain solanine too much can upset your stomach. Just peel all the green and the sprouts off.

No, but don't eat the sprouts or leaves (if your potato gets that old). They can be poisonous but I don't know how much you'd have to eat to hurt you. Tomatoes and eggplant are in the same family as potatoes.

No it isnt.
I dont think that its bad to eat any food you can but in the Veggy section of the Super Market. Ive seen natives eating them somewhere near Australia.
I think they taste pretty good raw...
