Is it effective satire. Is it humorous? What do you think?

I like it, but the sad thing is that there are people who really think like that - and wouldn't see any satire or irony in it.
It's so close to the truth of how some people really are that I have trouble laughing at it.

The problem with satire is that often the people who would benefit most from recognizing the satire are unaware of it.
Sorta like how Archie Bunker was beloved by bigots even though he was a caricature of them. (Although that may just have been the writing).
