Yes you can freeze it, but the constitution of it changes when de frosted. Hard cheese becomes very crumbly, but the taste doesn't seem to be effected.

I freeze hard cheeses, it does tend to go a bit crumbly though, but I don't mind that, it still tastes OK. Not tried freezing soft ones, I don't think they'd be quite the same when they're thawed, but there's no harm in trying some.

I freeze shredded cheeses of all kinds. They stay good and do not get freezer burn if they are in the original, unopened packages. I use them in casseroles, lasagna, pizza, etc. right from the freezer and it works just fine.

I have also frozen chunks of cheese but these kinds of crumble after they are thawed out.

Yes you can, but try not to freeze blue cheese because when it defrosts it just goes into "crumble" and is not good.

If you can freeze pizza, which has cheese than you can obviously freez cheese though it may not be good

You can, but it will change the texture. If it's in a block, I would refrigerate it and cut the edges off if it starts to grow mold.
I keep my grated romano cheese in the freezer.

Not well---it gets dried out. Just wrap it up good so air can't get to it and where it is not exposed to light. Cheese cloth is good if you have that to wrap it in. It will last a long time in the frig.

I freeze it all the time but grate it first. If you do this, you won't know any difference when you use it.
