New York Governor is going to give illegal immigrants a "Special drivers license" different from those legally residing residents will receive. These will say the holder is an illegal immigrant of which they will then be hunted down, arrested, then deported thru an automatic assembly-line solution using the given addresses that were given to obtain the special license. Is this not entrapment? Is this legal? Gov. Spitzer is working with the federal government, Homeland Security, who is trying to find solutions of illegals entering and staying in America, thus creating a security breach of U.S. borders.

I think they SHOULD be deported the second they are in line for the license. JMO
John L~ Please provide us with proof that carrying that little piece of plastic(driver's license) makes someone a better driver.... Just because they have a license does NOT mean that true citizens will be safer. Who cares if you can track them? Do you really think that if they flee from an accident that they are WILLING to be caught? You don't think they will just keep running and hiding? They will just flee the country and come back with a different name....

This illegal invasion, I mean immigration.... No I mean invasion because that's what it is, has been nicely supported and ordained by King George and cronies like Spitzer, et al. It was my understanding that when someone takes office they do so under an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. If our elected "officials" dictate that we sit back and let another country invade our own, isn't that in itself treason?
By the way, it's illegal to harbor a criminal. What part of "illegal" doesn't Spitzer understand?
Has anyone heard any more news about that one illegal immigrant who raped and murdered a 14-year-old girl in Texas and got off the hook because he wasn't a citizen? King George himself intervened and told the Texas courts that they can't execute him. It was on CNN for a short time but haven't heard anything since. I think his name was Medellin. Anyway, if our supreme court decides that he doesn't have to face the death penalty, as Texas says he does, then they're basically saying our Constitution is not as valid as International Law.
Sounds like treason to me.

It is wonderful to arrest and deport them.
It is terrible to give them a driver's license. Spitzer just wnats to do this to get more illegals voting in the next election. He is a traitor to the US.

My understanding is that this is a way to try and get them to carry car insurance not to deport them. New York doesn't have the stones to go against the government and actually do anything about illegals!

Gov. Spitzer created another way to screw-up NYS citizens. Now, I will have to pay (again) for another license.
I think now we need to ask Hilary to build a fence to keep New Yorkers from escaping the tyranny of Spitzer.

Don't forget that the illegal criminal aliens just are not that bright....
Hopefully they will all go in for their licenses and get deported. A good way to clean out New York.
Then, on to other states.

Not entrapment, absolutely legal.
What is illegal is being here illegally.
The license won't say you are illegal, there will just be no reason on earth why anyone legally here would get that class of license.
I don't think they should give any license or privileges here to those who shouldn't be here, though, since it makes it easier and more pleasant for them to be here. I think it should be VERY uncomfortable to be here illegally.
