Take some time for yourself. You NEED to do that, or you'll burn out.
I had a small group of friends in med school that would take shopping trips, or go out to eat every once in a while. (Shopping for bargains only - we were all poor!)
You can't study all of the time. Even if you do, you'll still never learn it all. Schedule some YOU time. Spend an hour or two at an art museum. Read a chapter of a NON-MEDICAL book every few days. Go on a date (if you're married, that would be WITH your spouse!) Take a hike in the woods. Whatever gets your mind AWAY from school.
You must also realize that you can only do what you can do. That will be important in your career. You can't fix the world. (You probably can't even get some of your patients to take their d*** medicines!) You just do what you can, and that's OK.
It WILL get better. Depending on where you are in your education, it might get worse first, but it WILL get better!
God doesn't give you any more than you can handle. Sometimes, you might just need to sit down and have a good cry. That's OK too.

i wouldnt recommend you medications to reduce stress! you as a medical student should know they arent good to health in a long term and even if they work and that they can lead to dependence
if you feel your very stressed and have the chance to sleep , go for it
ps: im also a med student( i started early this year) and it is getting hard each day but we have to try to cope and deal with it
Many med students `abandon` their private life like friends , dating , family and having fun in general to study which is not the best way to learn because with time you will get tired , desmotivated and stressed (i hope you not doing it)
try to equilibrate your studies with your personal life
