Okay my friend came down with cancer. Me and my other friend wanna do a stand for her to collect money for her. We already have a jar with pics of her for money and paper for people to sign incase something goes wrong they get their money back. Problem is, we don't have a table and don't have a store to stand in front of. What can we do? What do we ask in order to use the front doors to stand at and ask for donations? Also where can we find a really cheap table? Please help!! We need this before Wednesday, thanks.

You will have to get the store owner's permissin to collect outside of their store. Some stores will allow you to place a picture and collection box by their cash register. If people donate, they dont get their money back. It is a charitable gift.
You would raise more money if you got a store to donate a gift, made up tickets to sell and had a raffle.

When my daughter was diagnosed with cancer we did a fundraiser for her. We went to local businesses and asked for donations for an auction. We held a turkey shoot and auction at the local VFW. Just an idea for you. Not sure about the store because you have to go through alot of red tape before you can get permission. Unless it is independently owned. Good luck.
