I would say that he likes you only as a friend,
but I just thought
(even though I am a girl)
if I liked a guy
and I didn't really know how to tell it to him-I would try out some complements
and I sure would tell him that he is a good person
SO
it depends on the way he said it... (his face expression)

Nope. He just simply likes you as a person. It's just a very blah statement. Nothing meant by it, just that you're a cool person.

NOPE.
He likes you as a person....or to be blunt, a FRIEND.
He is not into you, and he has no desire to be anything more than your friend. How you could interpret that comment otherwise is beyond me.
Anyways move along and find someone who likes you just as much as you like them.
