Your an idiot. Actually your are a f**king idiot. I hope at this protest you get beat up for no reason and then maybe you will understand the war on terror. You could probably use a good *** kicking anyway. People say that there are no terrorists in Iraq and they are full of sh*t. I was in Al queda stronghold for six months fighting these *****les. They are very dangerous and if we dont stop them there then we will be fighting them here and I have no doubt about that. I have seen the destruction they are capable of and trust me, you dont want our citizens to face that kind of horror. They are rutheless and dont give a damn about you, me or anyother human being alive. Why shouldnt they be stopped? Its a crappy deal that any Americans have to die in this stupid *** war but America didnt start this stupid *** war. We were attacked and now we must fight and Americans are either going to die over here or they are going to die over there where we actually have a chance at fighting them and can kill them too. Anyway Sir, You are an idiot.

sahara 27 didnt realize you could become so cultured by staying in the united states and have opinions on military matters having never served, so how exactly are you making the world a better place. Other than having an opinion which by the way is only because our country is willing to go to war for your half assed opinionated views on the tiny part of the world that you belong to. Im not saying all war is right im just saying you dont have the right to judge whether it is or not. Had you been there and seen what th emedia leaves out then you could voice your opinion.

No one is Pro-War and No one likes war, except the Anti-war crowd. It is an opportunity for the Communists among us to attempt a demonstration of their deep caring and compassion right before they murder millions of Conservatives.
Hopefully, they won't get the chance and America will remain a Free Republic.

Join an anti war protest now that violence in Iraq has dropped by as much as 70%. I don't think I would want to snatch defeat out of what looks like some semblence of victory. You want to protest, you go ahead We (myself and all other veterans) have bled to give you that right. Myself I am proud that americas youth will still stand up and offer freedom to 50 million people.

I agree with the previous answerer; the media is only portraying the bad side of this war, whether you are pro- or anti.

My brother has recently completed a project working with Iraqi contractors, working with local labour as well as his unit to repair a derelicy school. He also helped to sink three fresh water wells; and he's Infantry, not Engineering- but he's made friends for life out there.

This crap is not even funny anymore. I hope this was not e-mailed to any of our troops trying to complete this mission. These kinds of thoughts coming from “back home in America" is psychologically devastating to our troops fighting. Since I’m speaking to children I can use this for an analogy; when you tell a two-year-old child "no more baby bottle, big kids use sippy cups". Every time the child reaches for the cup, will you slap him/her in the face? These mindless mixed messages that our troops are receiving from back home in safe America are more psychologically devastating to our troops than the war itself. How does it feel to be the biggest contributor to posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)? Especially when our military is doing a damn good job!

NOO!!

We gotta fight this war to win!! The media yet again has made people against the war just like in Vietnam by showing only the bad stuff and making people beleive that there's only negative things going on and not any positive things. People don't know what's going on, they are just brainwashed. Especially those who believe the US gov't caused 9-11..how sad.

I say phuk the media! Support the troops all the way by supporting what they are doing!

No. Unlike anti-war protesters, I have to work for a living, pay my taxes which pay for the bullets, tanks and bombs for our American heroes and support those bums like you who have nothing better to do than protest, do drugs and listen to Al Franken.

Next dumb question, please.

Hey...That's a GREAT idea...considering the soldiers had such a positive experience coming home from Vietnam!

Listen Hanoi Jane...take your great ideas and move to Iraq, bet you'l get one heck of a reception there.

Our soldiers are there protecting us. We should value and respect what they are doing. Whenever I see a soldier in the store, airport, anywhere, I always walk up and say "Thank You".
