my boyfriend used to go to strip clubs and it was a big deal because he used to lie about going and i caught him on several occasions; if he had told me straight out i dont think i would've been as offended as i was. In the long run though i think it hurt my self esteem, and i know just because guys go to strip clubs doesnt mean things aren't going well sexually with us but it still left me with feeling not good enough. I talked to guy friends about it and every single one said they wouldnt go if they had a girlfriend and that if he had me then why would he want to go? He's since stopped going, or as far as i know he has, but i still cant help but feel hurt by the whole thing and i think that its now hurting our sex life more than ever, im not as open sexually with him as i have been with guys in the past and stuff like that. What should i do?

First of all when he lied to you the first time , he broke that bond of trust. I would have broke up with him because once a person lies to you and gets away with it they'll do it over and over again, because they got away with it before. So how can you trust this person any further , that's probably why your sex life is deteriorating. Just dump him . And move on !

I allowed my husband to go to strip clubs simply because I trusted him.
It doesn't really matter if you allow or not if he's going to cheat he will cheat. He doesn't have to go to a club to do it. Not only that but if you allow it then the guys will meet at your house to go and you will get to know them and are more likely to find out if he does cheat on you.
Men are visual as previously stated, women are intelectual so while he's gone getting excited read a good romance book or take a long bath because when he gets home he will probably like to relieve a little tension.

Guys are visual creatures. Strip clubs are better then him knocking up some girl behind ur back.

Why are you punishing him because you feel insecure? Get counseling. Guys like strip clubs, some women do too. Get over it.
