well im just wondering if credit cards can be used for a money order

No, you can't use a credit card to buy a money order. However, if you can take cash advances on your credit card, you can use that cash to purchase the money order. But be aware the interest on cash advances is higher than the interest on purchases. Also, there maybe be a fee on top of that depending who the creditor is for the credit card. In my opinion, it's not wise.

Unlikely. Most places will insist on cash.

But if someplace did accept the credit card, you might get hit with a transaction fee for a cash advance on top of the higher interest rate.

I tried this at my post office. Wasn't allow to purchase with credit card but my debit i could.

NO NO AND NO. . .Money orders have to be paid with CASH ONLY mainly due to people not paying their bill.
