Personally, I think there is a weakness in Carl's personality that is showing on the racetrack. Yet, Rusty constantly defends him. Why?

Rusty has always liked Carl and they are both from Missouri..Actually Carl and Matt after the race today everything looked just fine..so Rusty can calm down Carl doesn't need you to defend him..

Both being from Missouri is an option, RW has always spouted off about the greatness his home state. Also, I have to wonder if Rusty isn't lobbying a bit for Edwards, perhaps to end up with his former boss, Roger Penske.
