I believe that anyone who takes their own life were probably already living in hell. Or at least some place very close to it.

What if I told you that you don't die. What if I told you that you were already died? Here's one that's even crazier.... what if I told you that this planet was actually a school... a training ground so to speak, for all souls on this earth to learn the royal law of GOD and to become CHRIST-LIKE! The door to the Kingdom within can only be entered while a person is still physically alive in the body. Unless you can find the "narrow gate", you cannot enter into heaven or go to glory when you physically die. Throughout the New Testament there is many references to believers standing there -- at that time -- who would not die without seeing the Kingdom come: "Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom" (Matt 16:28 NKJ). These words make reference to the inner "narrow gate" opening within the genuine disciple of TheWay, and they being permitted into the Kingdom.

No, because I believe God is merciful as well as just. They will eventually go to heaven like everyone else. Not sure if they may go through a temporary hell of some kind, because suicide is also still murder. This is my belief on this.

I am torn on that one. I know someone who committed suicide a week ago. I think there are people who didn't mean to really killl themselves just hurt themselves. I know their are those whose intentions were clear. All I can say is God knows there motives. I would hope he show mercy. Dividing up each case equally, based on the individual facts. The Bible does say he is a just God.

well it is clearly stated in the Bible that nothing can separate us from Christ, once we are saved. That once we are saved we are purchased with His blood, and nothing and non one can take that away. But I do think that God doesn't want us to take our own life, because then we aren't living the plan for our lives that He has for us. But I think that if a person is saved and does commit suicide I think they are able to go into Heaven. That doesn't mean that they won't be held accountable for the unrepentant sins they had while on Earth.

As a freethinker, I'm wavering between death being the end of everything and some sort of non-Hindu reincarnation. Even if there's a reincarnation, I don't think suicide would matter much.
And, in the unlikely event Christianity is real, it probably depends on the person's motives for committing suicide. Was it an act of altruism, of a self-centered desire to punish one's family and friends?

Thank God we can't decide this issue. Please trust our loving, wise Father/Judge to do what is right.
I knew a person on mind drugs to take away bad thoughts, then committed suicide. I figured the drugs took ALL thoughts away, including thoughts of self preservation.
Who knows what insanity, or brain dysfunction (example a brain tumour like they found in the U of Texas gunman) is a mitigating factor.
God knows all, and will do the right thing.
PS: I hope He takes away the memory of anyone who missed the cut, or there would be sadness in Paradise.

This is my opinion on that. I believe it is according to the person's state of mind. I don't believe God would cast a mental person to hell if he/she weren't in their right mind. How they lived their lives could play a part. But, how do you know that person didn't have a few seconds, before death, to ask forgiveness ?God is quick and just to forgive ,if we but ask from the heart. We csn think it and not have to speak it. So, there is no way we can be sure, but, we have the promise of forgiveness IF WE ASK. hOPE THIS GIVES YOU SOME PEACE AND HOPE.

If they do, so does everybody else cause that would mean in theory that God is evil and then of course there would be no mercy for anyone, which hopefully is not the case.

I truly believe, that Suicide is sin. It is disobeying the Fifth Commandment of: Thou shalt not Kill . But I also truly believe that God is a Forgiving God. Upon our final breath, I sincerely believe that it is humans last chance to see God and ask for Forgiveness. The last tiny piece of Light that we see, upon our death spots, is God and it is our only chance to ask God to Forgive us. So hopefully my beliefs are accurate and so many good people have committed suicide and they did it because they were so down in the deep dark Valley. But once in the Valley of the Shadow of Death, they saw the beautiful flicker of Gods, Light. I don't believe they will die in the eternal fires of Hell. It is sin to plan suicide.
