And not just the name brand, I'm seeing it in the store brand equivalent. Used to be creamier. It is "harder" now, and doesn't melt the same. It's easier to slice, granted, but I don't buy it for how it slices I buy it for the taste and texture....

Purple Passion! You are absolutely correct. I did buy the 2% by mistake. Thank you so much for clearing that up. I was afraid my cheese world had been turned upside down forever LOL!

Did you buy the 2% milk one by mistake? I haven't had it in awhile to know if they changed it, but I hope not.


Edit: LOL too funny =) glad that was the problem and they didn't change it.

It used to be made from Colby, Swiss and Cheddar but that changed in about 2004 its now no longer has any cheese in it

So all of those pre 2004 recipes need to be scrapped the Velveeta they called for no longer exists. Dont

Dont use it to cook with because its not real cheese anymore.

Hmm...I'm a huge velveeta fanatic..surprisingly, i haven't eaten any in quite a few months. I sure hope they didn't change it, that cheese is amazing!!
