Buy a package of Wee Wee pads, and follow the directions:

Simply place Wee-Wee Pads (plastic lining down) on the floor near where dog is being kept. The scientifically treated Wee-Wee Pad will attract your dog when nature calls--and the housebreaking habit has begun!

When your dog's training is completed indoors, begin the out-of-doors training by placing the Wee-Wee Pad outside of the house Your dog will again be attracted by the Wee-Wee Pad that is outside. Within a few days, when the proper training habits have been learned by your dog, the pad will no longer be needed.

I've had a Lab I brought home at 7 weeks of age. He was able to grasp the concept of potty outside in only two days. I had a Shii-Tzu also that required a full 16 months. They are all different. All precious, but different.

1 puppy isn't hard to train, but 2 puppies together are much harder.. They are a team and become more doggy ... you should keep one and have a dog that is more people oriented, then adopt a 2nd dog later.

i would start puppy pad training them, to get them used to going in a certain spot, and give it a couple weeks before you start training them to go outside..also becareful when you take them outside, since they aren't fully vaccinated yet, they shouldn't be around other dogs, and make sure they don't eat anything off the ground..i'm sure you already know this, but just a reminder!

They are a little young. At the point that they normally leave their mom (8 weeks) it is fine to start crate training them. This method works very well.

They are just babies, probably still nursing. So yes, potty-training them is a challenge.

But good luck!
