Hello all!
I'm doing a project on the country of North Korea for a project for my Chinese I class.
I'm having troubles finding the following answers;
Requirments ( to join I suppose)
Age limit
Time limit
and Female vs Male ( I'm guessing this means is there any difference between the two when it comes to the military)
If anyone can answer one or all of these questions it would be greatly appreciated!

All able bodied persons in North Korea must do a tour within the Active military, and all civilians after their tour are in the North Korean Reserves. Last I heard there was around 1,000,000 Active and 7-8,000,000 Reserves.

North Korea is still a very closed society much of what you seek is not even common knowledge to the people of North Korea, most of what is posted on Western websites can only be classed as an educated guess based on what intelligence can be gleaned from defectors etc..etc..
