I can only see a few drawbacks (and a lot of pluses!) depending on wwhat you do at work. If you interact with customers on a one-to-one basis then maybe you were more personable, but you might want to try some mouthwash. If you work around machinery, like on an assembly line, you may get into a rhythm and actually have fun (sort of like guys not dancing until they've had a few under their belt). However, you may take unnecesary risks and present a danger to others if you are highly intoxicated (like a drunk driver). So, be careful. Oh, and one more plus -- at the end of the day you are already "primed" and ready to go for some more!!!

Becaue you were not alert ot the mistakes you were making and likely did not pay as much attention to the quality fo the work you were performing. Since you could not concentrate as much on the job it seemed easier. In fact, you probably make a lot of mistakes and never realized it.
Alcohol never helped anyone to do a better job. Quite the contrary, fact prove that any degree of alcohol in the system will lower reaction times, perception and inhibit normal thinking.

Either you're just too tense when you're sober and being gassed made you more relaxed or you were so relaxed you really didn't care whether you did the job correctly or not, or you were still so drunk you just thought you did a better job. I really don't think going to work still under the influence is such a great idea.

...you did not care about the quality of your work. May someone help you tomorrow when you get back to work and either get disciplined or have a lot of do overs.

I don't know maybe you thought it was more fun this time, I know that your job can be borring sometimes, always the same questions and so on. Please don't make a habit of it, you need to concentrate on any position and you could lose your job, then when would you have money to drink.

You suffer from illusions of grandeur when inebriated. You just think you were doing a job. Quality control will catch and then what?
