May be you have an academic point here but one thing is for sure that they all have left their Gods behind.I think that should suffice for your question.

That may be the case for some, for others maybe science answered their questions, remember as christians (if u r 1) we are not to judge. All atheists are not anarchist punk rockers, alot are hard working people with good morals that just decided to take an alternate route. If you try to push your beliefs on them they will stand for what they belive to know just as I.

People don't SAY they are atheists, they ARE atheists because they do not believe in any gods. We have nothing to gain by saying that we are atheists. It is how we believe and think. We probably are more educated on religions than religious people because most of us studied them to find SOMETHING worthwhile and didn't. Most religious people stick to their own religion in fear that they might actually find something that proves theirs wrong. My guess is that you don't personally know even one atheist. Your question is posted here just to get a reaction, not from any knowledge on your part. I don't believe in any religion/religions. Not one has a decent answer to any meaningful question because they are all based on delusions and wishes.

On point c.) "who didn't find any religion to answer their question" you are dead on, that's why we're atheists, and not whichever religion that they found the answers to. On the other two parts, you're wrong. I truly do not believe that there is no such thing as a god, and I am not confused by that.

The only person who can answer that question are each Atheists themselves. All others won't know what's going on inside each individual mind, so it's only fair to let them answer, since no one can assume what they think, not even other Atheists.

Well, what does it say about religion that it couldn't answer their questions?

We are really atheists, but that's a perfectly legitmate stance if religion doesn't make sense to us.

LOL no but thanks for the giggles.

Would you say that most who say they are Christians are not really Christians but that they are just confused and did not learn any common sense to answer their questions?

{This is not how I feel about all Christians, I just get tired of the generalizing on here}

No, sorry. I cannot agree with your generalizations as much as you would like me to.

I am Atheist because that is what I truly believe. I believe there are no gods.

I am no longer confused thank you very much. I see most clearly these days as to what my personal truth is.

YOUR GOD DOES NOT EXIST

no really

he/she/it doesn't

if he/she/it did then you'd have some f**king evidence that was the case

that's why I'm an atheist

I'm not f**king confused about anything.

It's kind of sad that you just can't accept that there are people out there who really just don't believe that your magical, invisible sky fairy exists.

Well, on one point, you're correct; I didn't find any religion that answered enough of my questions to bother with them further.

On the first, though, you're dead wrong. I really, honestly, truly, without any reservation, don't believe in any god of any sort.
