Only if Gordon, Johnson & Bowyer stay at home the last 4 races. Do the math: Tony's all but out of it.

LOL Sorry.... 322 points out will be almost impossible to overcome with 3 drivers in his way. Even IF Gordon hits the wall and places 43 all three final races, Tony Stewart still would need Johnson and Bowyer to have some really bad luck too! And with Johnson 313 points ahead of Stewart, Johnson would need to be right behind Gordon in at least two of those final races!
Better put your money on Hendrick! Maybe next year Stewart and Toyota! Well, maybe better wait until 2009 or 2010!

Smoke has to be disappointed in his Chase, as he's almost certainly not going to win his third points title.
But he's still got game and we'll see it today in Atlanta.
Stewart won this event last fall, and has only failed to finish in the top 10 in Atlanta once the last 12 times he's raced here. So you know he's going to be near the front, and you have to believe Stewart will worry less about points than the Hendrick guys when push comes to shove. He'll want to win this race, and I give him a decent chance to do so.

He is still in the chase not mathematically eliminated yet. But Gordon-Johnson-Bowyer will have to have some bad luck for Tony to have a realistic Shot at the championship!!!

This just seems to be Jeff gorden's year. Last year was terrible for him and he will win the points championship this year. If he does not win, it will be Johnson.

No way. I don't think that he can gain the points needed to catch JJ or Jeff.
