Yea.......the thing I think is cool is how the evolutionists keep changing their stories but have yet to come up with any concrete evidence..............while God's Word on the subject has always remained true and unchanging.....and even beyond that THEIR science continully come up with little bits of evidence that lean more toward the Bible being true instead of their theory.
ain't it cool.......:-)

I've noticed the exact opposite, actually. The level of rhetoric in the scientific sites is substantially higher than on creationist sites. I would recommend the talk.origins archive if you disagree.
Science starts with observation and moves on to hypothesis, and ultimately the formation of a theory. If evidence appears that contradicts the theory there will be a concerted effort (indeed, almost a competition) to alter, or unify, the theory, until it reflects measured reality again. This is true of the theory of evolution, the theory of gravity, and every other scientific theory out there.
Creationists start with a conclusion (God did it) and try to work backwards to support their conclusion. This conclusion will never change (it's in the bible) and any new discoveries have to be viewed as supporting the conclusion. It is for this reason that the creationist movement is an intellectual fraud.

Answer: what I notice is that creationists distort scientific facts, misquote scientists, and use faulty logic. Evolution is on as firm ground as the earth's motion around the sun (which was controversial because of the church a while back.)
My answer to mairzydoatz: It has nothing to do with what I want to believe. If someone showed me evidence that the Bible was the true word of God, I'd believe in it and in evolution (as many christians do.) I think you've got things a little backwards about who's unteachable.
Take a look at some of the previous answers for instance:
Susan L.: "We can't know everything. It's all just guessing. Therefore, I'm not even going to try to investigate the evidence. I'll just tell myself that this thousand year old book is right."
Kenny P.: "They keep changing stories. The only way I'd ever believe scientists is if they stuck to their explanations, even in the face of new discoveries, and never admitted that we can still learn more. Just like we creationists do."
Sisterzeal: "I don't have anything to say about evolution, so I'll just make a straw man argument about anthropologists who have misguided morals, and pretend that it's because they believe in evolution."
Neptune2bsure: "The answers in science raise more questions [as they should] so I'm not going to listen to them, because I want to live in a simpler world, where you can have absolute proof of things [which doesn't exist]. The Bible is the only basis that I have, because it's hard for my brain to process more stuff."
Edit: by the way, *clap* *clap* *clap*. Excellent response, sithlord78.

Creation can be PROVED, while evolution cannot. Nothing has EVER evolved from ONE species to another. There is NO evidence in the fossil records... a BIGGIE that evolutionists do NOT want to talk about. They keep coming up with THEIR REASONS for that evidence not being there, but they are LAME excuses!
Think about this for a moment.... the HOUSE you live in, the car you drive, how did it come about????? WELL if you answer correctly, you would say , FIRST it was Designed!!!! We can all agree to that I am sure. If you tried to build without a design , what a HEAP of a mess you would have.
In our world today, DESIGN is everywhere, from what MAN has created to what GOD has created.
In the beginning everything came from NOTHING. Ever saw an explosion that produced anything???? Explosions, equal kayos! So how could a BIG BANG start ANYTHING? Actually a BIG BANG will END it all!!!
The reason MOST who are NOT Christian, do NOT want to accept a GOD who DESIGNED it all and SPOKE it into being, is because, then.... they would have to eventually, answer to that God for all the sin in their lives....
Don't look to see the status quo on evolution change... no , it will continue in the direction it is going now.... NOWHERE into NOTHINGNESS!!!!

Exactly. Evolution is like the government saying 9-11 was caused by terrorists and Creationism is like the people who say it is a conspiracy.
The conspiracy peeps provide specific examples...which are just wrong. They should study science before trying to single handidly taking on a scientific institution. Evolution is much larger than a chapter in your science book, it provides the basis for many scientific fields.
If someone were to point out why America was not between Mexico and Canada, I wouldn't bother explaining how he were wrong.

No, not true. In fact it is quite the opposite. The critical mind-trap that a creationist falls into is that he can't prove that God didn't create everything. Therefore he makes the logical , or rather reverse-logical, conclusion that he must've created it all. "If I can't refute it, then it must be so." That is not a good assumption to make. Here's a simpler exercise to extrapolate from: Can you prove that I see green the way you do? Is it possible that I see green the way you see blue? Can you prove it? Can you disprove it?
However creationists allow this assumption to bias their view. And unfortunately this first bias taints all the work they do. Instead of making an objective experiment to determine a true cause and effect, their job is simply to advocate. And advocacy (You'll understand if you watch enough Law and Order) is far from objective and/or fair.
The job of the scientist is not to denounce religion. The job of the scientist is pursuit of knowledge in its grandest or simplest forms. This daily collection of this knowledge is usually mundane and boring. So to be honest each and every scientist is not out to change the world or, even greater, change religion. His every day goal is to take a small measurement that validates or invalidates a small area of his/her field. This small measurement adds to the greater body of knowledge for use later. Point being, the every day science is UNCONCERNED with this idea of evolution vs. creation.
This argument on the contrary is the sole raison d'etre for the creationist. So much so that it causes them to be irrational. It is very understandably so. It is the hubris of investment. To put it simply the creationist has much more at stake in this argument than the regular scientist, so he argues it with the infinity of passions.
The regular scientist only thinks of evolution as a tool. He's glad that it's there, but does it make his life happy that it's true? Not really. It puts food on the table, but it's not as fun as listening to a good song. Does this make him more right? No, but it does make him more impartial.
What am I driving at? Well, major point of pain for the creationist is the thought that science diminishes God. So the creationist advocates the debate of creation vs. evolution because it gives them something to do. But I will warn all of you of a few commandments that God gave us all: "Thou shalt not bear false witness" and "Thou shalt not use the Lord's name in vain"
Remember that lying FOR God is worse than risking a possible truth of His non-existence. Why? Well, believing in the bible beyond rational thought just made an atheist out of some impressionable scientist who was otherwise just a simple student. This is the problem that I see with creationists. They will argue passionately thinking that their passion is all they need. Their arguments are at whole unfair, and in the end, are counter-productive.
If you can't believe after accepting evolution then your faith wasn't true to begin with. If you won't even test it, then I say you're a coward. Lying for God strengthens your own faith at the expense of others'. It is a completely selfish act to do so.

When we speak in schools on Intelligent Design or Creation, we start by asking our audience to raise their hands when we stop talking about science.
Of course, we need to talk about science, or we will never get invited back into public schools.
Since our presentations are all science, students don't raise their hands.
We've found that the evolution discussion more story-telling and opinion, but little science.

Absolutely, but we have to remember the evolutionists do not WANT to believe in creation. They are pretty much unteachable.......stubborn to the point of doing some honest and unbiased research on their own. There are cases of where some athiest folks who began to do honest research in an uncritical way.....have then been assured there is a Creator Who did create our world. There is nothing to be gained in this life by being unwilling to do some honest research. My question to those who espouse evolution is, "What if you find out in the end that there is a Creator, and He did create all this.........what will you say to Him then ?"

What?
Are you seriously negating the proof of evolution whilst saying that creationism has points of specific science?
Ohhhh, I see-creationism "argues" points of specific science. Meaning, they take one point of evolution-purposefully set up a straw man and think they have "proven" something to their followers.
I've noticed creation sites being full of blatant lies and misinformation. I've noticed evolution being based on repeatable tests and results using the scientific method.

what specific science; science on what we know today ; long ago they believed the world was flat ; we can't see the entire universe , man has not actually been to any other planet; doesn't know how our own bodies work ; finds new species everyday; how can you feel so confident in a science that is subject to change; when you have been around the entire universe and on every inch of this planet then you know science ; until then , everything is a best guess based on our limitations at the time

No...I have seen 100% of time Creationsists give nothing but flawed arguments proved false so many times that there should be a surcharge when posting them and every single time Evolutionists try to explain something that Creationists prove by their questions they do not understand
