So the South Beach Diet essentially? With exercise, yes. White flour has a lot of fillers that actually make you hungrier, or at least don't satiate your body long enough. However, whole wheat only has very filling grain. So just eating it isn't really the point, the point is that you aren't hungry as much.

Cutting out carbs or starches will help you seriously lose weight. Once you stop them your cravings stop in a day or so also.

My Husband dropped 60 lbs in 6 months on the Adkins. But this was under a Doctors care. Because your body goes into Ketosis without carbs.

But you need to eat the other vegetables that will provide
carbs (your muscles need them to function well).

i dont know..but id like to suggest something.

for about a month, try eating whatever you want. [in moderation] just excercise alot. go to the gym at least twice aa week for more then an hour. and do a routine of excercises avery morning and/or night. It will help way more then dieting because you will also feel healthier and more energetic and content!

Only if the net result was a loss in calories. You might lose a bit of weight due to increased fiber, but you're still consuming carbohydrates. Same number of calories, no weight loss.
