always 50/50 !!! you'll get your little girl if you are meant to have one. all babies are a miracle. be happy for one that is healthy!!!
i do know what you mean though..we have one boy. i'm so excited to start trying for baby #2 at christmas time and a little part of me hopes for a girl so I can do girly things with her. BUT another part of me really hopes for another little boy. So either a boy or girl I would just be so thrilled to have another little miracle that puts a smile on my face constantly.

sorry, but you still only have a 50/50 chance of girl. That being said...I have 2 boys 20 months apart in age and I now have a daughter that is 8 years younger than my middle child. I love my sons and my daughter, but I sometimes think another boy would have been easier as I already knew what to do with boys and for the most part they were simple. My daughter is complicated and has all the attitude of her mother (me..the things we pass on). Good luck and have fun trying to make baby 3.

There is a theory that "girl" (x chromosone) sperm live longer and "boy" sperm swim faster (y chromosone) sperm swim faster. You could try having sex 3-5 days before Ovulation. The theory is that the "boy" sperm would die before the egg is released as only the "girl" sperm would have a chance to reach it. There is really no gurantee it would work, but if you really want a girl it might be worth a shot.

Same chances, 50/50. I don't really think that there is anyway to ensure your chances of having a girl either. We were talking about this today. My husband asked our youngest if he wanted me to have a baby and our daughter said only if it is another girl. I had to tell her that it wasn't a choice of what you got, it just happened.

In my statistics class they said it was always a 50/50 chance. I'm not sure how it works because statistics made my brain hurt.
